I love me some music and the internet is a great source to find new artists/songs to jam out too. Some of the music I listen to is actually very inspiring to me (artistically) and it is where I get some of my ideas for the art direction on my websites and digital images. Mostly all of the new music I get into, I post in some way on this blog or in my Blip.fm page. So if it is music you are after and you like the stuff I jam out too here you go.

Blip.fm is cool, it allows posts of music and videos, it is like being your own DJ, it also posts your Blips on Twitter if you so wish, as well as embedding options.
89X Radio
This is the radio station I grew up listening to. Their morning show is awesome, just everything about them is awesome. You can even listen to them online. I listen to their morning show almost everyday.
Pandora.com
A great place to find new music, you enter an artist and it will play random songs from that artist and similar artists. You can choose what you like or dislike as well to help the thing give good suggestions about what else you might ike on your playlists.

I just found this blog, has some cool electric/hiphop/rock type music mash-ups. Plus 1 tweet got me their Fix Your Face album for free!!!!

This is Mark Hoppus( from Blink-182/+44)’ website. He posts funny stuff, promotional stuff, new music, and more. I got some cool songs by checking out his site.
MikeShinoda
This is Mike Shinoda(from Linkin Park)’s website. This is one of my favorite bands and favorite sites to visit. He posts lot of cool music (just check the music page) and some of it is free to download, others music has been worth looking into and buying. He also posts other cool, funny, artistic, etc stuff.
imeem lets you do things like this embedded playlist, it has a lots of music, I am still very new to the site so I have not explored the “social” side of it at all and, to be honest, I probably won’t.
Unfortunately, with the embedded music player some of the songs are only 30 second clips> For the full lengths go the page with my imeem playlist.
