How to use AWESOMEdotcom.org:
Upon loading the site you will simply see the background logo and a line of icons down the right side. Everything the site has to offer is located within those icons! To see what the icon stands for simply hover over it for a second.
Blog – this is a pop up window for this WordPress Blog, AWESOMEdorcom.org/blog. A blog about all things awesome (in Jim’s mind).
E-Mail Jim – this is to contact the site administrator directly or just to email Jim about anything going on in your life. jim-k@live.com
Jim’s Facebook page – this opens a new tab with my Facebook page. You know what to do from there.
Jim’s Twitter page – this opens a new tab with my twitter page. Nothing crazy there, mostly just lil blips from Blip.fm and me talking about hockey.
Gallery: Art & Pics – This is a small series of pics of Jess and I and our dog Max. Also on there is some of the digital art i have made (just a hobby of mine). You can click and drag the mini photos around and even click the link to open the full size images. See all my digital art as well as TONS of others at DeviantArt.com.
The Story of Jim & Jess – this page needs updating but it’s the wonderful story i love that is about how Jim & Jess started (Jess is my wife).
Music – this link is actually different then any of the others and is also accessed by simply scrolling down in area where the background logo is at. You’ll notice icons for 89X (my radio station i grew up listening to), Pandora.com (wonderful internet music site), My Favs (needs a bit of updating but some of my favorite songs), Linkin Park widget (my favorite band’s lil widgets with LP news, vids, and more), Blip.fm (my Blip.fm profile page).
Games – this link works the same as the “Music” link but displays some icons for different games. Fancy Pants 2 (fun platformer), Fantastic Contraption (fun physics based game, physics as in tumbling and such not school work, just check it out), Free Rider 2 (create your own tracks and ride the bike on it, click the link right below it for tracks I made, load them up and have fun!), Stunt Dirt Bike (a simple dirt bike game where you have to maneuver through a lil obstacle course), & Super Dodge Ball (one of the best NES games ever!).
Yahoo Sports Detroit Red Wings RSS feed – a pop up with the teams latest news and stories from all the sources covered by Yahoo Sports (great Red Wings info). Also check out the youtube Hockey Web Cast for great hockey clips!
Chat Box – this is a real time chat box from Chatango.com. It is mostly used for the [EYE] website (more info below).
[EYE] Website – for those that do not know, I do play Guild Wars, this is simply the website for the group of people I play with in Guild Wars.
Google Earth – Google Earth is embedded into this website just for fun. You may need to download the plug-in for it before you can use it (that should pop up automatically).
Help & Site map – this is still under construction but the basics are there.
