This is clearly an amateur video but the guy did a professional job.

Ok, so the comic doesn’t really look like an interview but I thought it was funny. It’s hard out there right now, unemployment is up, the recession is in action, bla bla bla, it can be tough out there. So here’s another tip for people to help you out.

50 COMMON INTERVIEW Q&A’s

6. What do you know about this organization?
This question is one reason to do some research on the organization
before the interview. Find out where they have been and where they are
going. What are the current issues and who are the major players?

7. What have you done to improve your knowledge in the last year?
Try to include improvement activities that relate to the job. A wide
variety of activities can be mentioned as positive self-improvement.
Have some good ones handy to mention.

Knowing what is going to be asked beforehand always helps to prepare for any big interview. Check out the big list of Q&A’s over at Bhuvana Sundaramoorthy’s Blog

I thought this was very important in today’s economy.

What is your worst characteristic?
Some human resource specialists suggest that you make a virtue sound like a flaw. “I tend to be a perfectionist,” or, “Everyone says I work too hard.” But others say these answers have become clichés. Mention a minor flaw, such as, “I think I’m too outspoken at times, but I’m working on it.”

Jim's PC parts review

April 30, 2009

ASUS Motherboard
Pros: I bought a CPU that was a AM2+ socket. The board supports AM2/AM2+/AM3 so i can easily upgrade to a better CPU some day if needed. Seems like a high quality mobo, onboard sound quality is awesome compared to my old sound card. When i shot the deagle and shotgun for the 1st time with this system i giggled like a lil boy. It was a nice surprise.
Cons: there is no Firewire port to connect my aging ipod to. The IDE port is way at the bottom of the board, it could certainly be a stretch for people that has to use them.

CPU
Pros: FAST! Quad Core is a wicked upgrade compared to the old single core CPU i had before. Installation was smooth, i put it in and it was very clear that it was in place the way it should be.
Cons: NONE :D

4GB of RAM
Pros: Felt really solid, made for good installation. CHEAP!
Cons: none

Hard Drive
Pros: Fast! Cheap! I transfered my data around and moving lots of GB of files was quick
Cons none

Conclusion: The new system went together really quick, i was surprised how fast it was. the cable management in the case was actually not too scary when it was all done, i was worried it would be a mess too. The system came together nicely and works like a charm, i love it!!

i also have Vista now that i have a beefy enough system. My first thought on Vista are positive. It refreshing not having to look at the same ol BS layout that XP has and not have to hack anything or install some crazy programs to alter its appearance. It’s a fast OS, nice looking, I have no complaints except one…in Windows Explorer i used to use the “Up” button a lot in XP and i havnt found it in Vista yet.

God Bless!
