Yankee Stadium in LEGOs!

August 10, 2009

Using over 45,000 LEGO bricks, a Manhattan gradeschooler and I have built a sculpture of Yankee Stadium over the past three years. It is 6 feet wide and 5 feet long, built to an approximate scale of 1:150.

I gotta say I wish they did make it the 25 foot scale to fit the little LEGO guys in it and not just little blocks as people. But block people or not this is an awesome recreation of Yankee Stadium.

There is a ton of detailed pics on this, to check em out just click on the source below. :D
